Job Purpose

To lead the organization’s technology strategy, ensuring robust IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation, and efficient system management to support business growth.

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the company’s IT strategy, aligned with business goals.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, core banking systems, and digital platforms.
• Ensure cyber security measures and regulatory compliance.
• Drive digital innovation and technology-driven financial services.
• Manage IT operations, system integration, and vendor relationships.
• Lead the IT team in delivering high-performance and secure solutions.

Qualifications & Experience

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. (Certified by ZAQA). A Master’s degree is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT leadership, preferably in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of core banking systems, cybersecurity, cloud computing, and digital platforms.
• Experience with IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ITIL) and regulatory compliance.
• Membership of ICTAZ.
• Proven ability to lead digital transformation initiatives.
